| Authentic Dent Article As with many wrist watches, it is often difficult to tell an authentic Dent watch from a fraud. There is one way to tell, if you are not 100 percent certain that the timepiece in question is real or fake. On the back plate or inscribed upon the dial plate of an authentic Dent is the phrase, “E. Dent & Co Ltd” followed by one of the addresses held by the Dent watch company at some point in their history. This is only true of wrist watched made through the 70s, so Dent wrist watches made in 2008 and after will have to be authenticated by a Stephen Dent qualified jeweler or other retailer. |
